Problems and Countermeasures of Ecological Construction in the West China

Ecology and environment are the basis of human survival and development, the premise and safeguard of economic development. The west is the important headstream in China, also the determinant of environmental quality and ecological balance of the whole country. Consequently, it is vital to construct western ecology. The paper first introduces etc status of ecological problems factors, such as water and soil loss, desertification, grassland degeneration, serious environmental pollution, etc. Some people believe that the worsened environment had affinity with global climates. However, we can still find that human factors, such as excessive exploitation and irrational utilization, unsuitable management system and unmatched integrated measures, short of capable persons at higher administrative levels, etc, obviously speed up the process of worsened environment in the west. According to these, we put forward some countermeasures.
