The Main Problems in the Ecological Environment of China and Their Countermeasures

Owing to the congenitally deficiency of natural environment and the human activities, China is now facing critical environmental problems: soil erosion and water loss, desertification, water and air pollution, deforestation and declining in biodiversity etc. To improve the ecological environment, the Chinese governments at all levels and in various regions have been taking a series of countermeasures, such as strengthening the law exercise, conducting more serious prevention and supervision, increasing the control investment and enhancing the control technology.
